Culture
A diverse and understanding school culture
Pupil’s understanding of cultural and spiritual issues is developed very well in meaningful activities they can easily relate to. (OFSTED 2016)
Our school culture enriches the children’s understanding and appreciation of the world around them, an extensive programme of cultural events is carried out into the prep years. Drama is one of the most popular events in the school, and all the school is involved in our end of year production. Historically, we have performed Wind in the Willows, Scheherazade and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
As your child will have been exposed to a wide range of the social and cultural spectrum whilst at Griffin House, they will have a huge amount of respect and tolerance for those from different backgrounds. Enhanced by our French lessons, and the regular attendance of guest speakers, we are confident that your child will leave School well rounded and respectful.
