On Tuesday 17th January, Year 3 and 4 had a very close netball match against PRJS (Princes Risborough). First Maya started off with the ball and did a successful pass to Jasmine who then led it up the court, but unfortunately we lost possession of the ball and Princes Risborough scored their first goal.
We were losing 1 – 0, which gave us more determination to score and Poppy did! So it was 1 – 1 and we were happy when she scored but there was still half a game to go. That was half time and we were pleased with how it was going, but we were going to give the second half our best try.
We started in possession with the ball and made our way to the goal and scored 2-1. Next Risborough scored 2 – 2; we weren’t happy.
It was 4 – 4 and there was 18 seconds left but unfortunately PRJS scored. The final score was 4 -5. It was a very close match but we are all very proud.

Form V & VI Football v Crown House
On Thursday some of the Year 5 and 6 boys were lucky enough to face Crown House in a football fixture. Straight from the start there was some very good shots from Griffin House but Crown House were just edging ahead making the score 3 – 1 to Crown House. Then the second half started and Griffin House were all fired up. After an amazing second half, Griffin House scored four goals and Crown House scored one leaving the score at 5 – 4 to Griffin House. A close match and both teams did very well. Also a special well done to Noah in Form VI for his amazing football skills. Good job, boys!
