Outstanding pastoral care
Throughout your child’s school life, we aim to foster a close and productive partnership between children and parents as part of our pastoral care. We understand that it is only when children feel safe and secure that they can fully develop their gifts and talents.
Parents’ feedback is overwhelmingly positive regarding every aspect of school life. The safety and well-being of each pupil is given the highest priority by all staff at Griffin House. The safety and well-being of each pupil is given the highest priority by all staff at Griffin House. (OFSTED 2016)
Our small class sizes ensure that our teachers know all pupils in the school, and not just those in their class. This pastoral care ensures that a family atmosphere is cultivated across the whole school, and that your child’s school support network goes beyond that of the individual school teacher.
All of our pupils know that they will always be listened to and taken seriously. We operate an open door policy, but if you would like to meet to discuss a lengthy issue, I would recommend booking an appointment to ensure that our teachers will not be disturbed.
