The Life Education Bus

Last week Reception to Form VI visited the Life Education Bus. Through a series of interactive workshops aboard the Life Bus, the children were introduced to a number of concepts aimed at promoting the children’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. The programme of study used to deliver the workshops is called SCARF (which stands for Safety, Caring, Achievement, Resilience and Friendship). Each value is linked to a colour on the scarves worn by Harold the giraffe and his friends, who are introduced to the children on the bus.  The SCARF values are brought to life by Harold and his friends through the workshops, and provide the children with a memorable experience, which will hopefully stay with them throughout their school journey.
