For the first assembly of the school year, Form V got off to a phiz-whizzing start. This term their assembly looked at Roald Dahl day. As Roald Dahl’s birth month is September, the children had the opportunity to share their admiration for the famous children’s author with the rest of the school. They began by sharing some facts about one of the most renowned authors and then had the opportunity to perform some of the stories with the children. Full of enthusiasm, they performed Little Red Riding Hood and The Anteater from Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes. With little over a week to practice, together with an impromptu day off, they rose to the challenge and I was very impressed with them. Fantastic work Form V!
