Workshop Teacher

Job description: Full time and permanent

Responsible to: Head Teacher

Hours: Monday Friday, 8am-5pm during term time

Salary: Competitive salary, dependent on experience


We are looking to appoint a reliable, enthusiastic and self-motivated teacher to oversee the provision for children with SEN. Previous experience of working with children is essential. Candidates will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, a warm and caring personality and a commitment to the nature and development of young children. A good level of numeracy and literacy skills are essential together with a positive approach, patience and understanding. The ability to communicate effectively with pupils and other staff is essential.

Essential qualities required: flexibility and adaptability, organisational and communication skills - to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues - self-motivation, professional knowledge and expertise, discretion, sense of humour. Knowledge and experience of current SEN policies and SEND code of Practice 2015 desirable. 

This post will be subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check as our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children in our care. Training and support will be an ongoing aspect of the role.

After-School Care Supervisor

Responsible to: Head Teacher

Hours:  Monday-Friday, 3pm-6.30pm during term time


We are looking to appoint a reliable, enthusiastic and self-motivated After School Care Supervisor to oversee the provision for children. Previous experience of working with children is essential. Candidates will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, a warm and caring personality and a commitment to the nature and development of young children. The ability to communicate effectively with pupils and other staff is essential.

Essential qualities required: Flexibility and adaptability, organisational and communication skills - to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues - self-motivation, professional knowledge and expertise, discretion, sense of humour. The successful candidate must hold a Level 3 Early Years or equivalent qualification.

After School Care Catering Manager

Responsible to: After School Care Supervisor

Hours: Monday Friday, 3.30pm-6.30pm during term time

Salary: Competitive salary dependent on experience

Main role and responsibilities:

In summary your main role as the Catering Manager is to provide a nutritious, cooked meal for the children.

Main duties:

  • Prepare a hot meal for the required number of children staying to the after school club
  • Be aware of and cater for all the Dietary requirements of the children, including those with diagnosed allergies
  • Serve the meal, and help to supervise the children whilst eating their meal
  • Clean and tidy away after the meal and ensure the kitchen area is left clean and tidy
  • On occasion, it will be necessary for you to work together with the after school Supervisor to support children’s participation in day to day learning activities.

Essential qualities required: flexibility and adaptability, organisational and communication skills - to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues - self-motivation, professional knowledge and expertise, discretion, sense of humour. Experience of working in a catering environment is desirable.
